ABOUT ME

Welcome back to school! I am so excited to have your child join our second grade class! I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year. My goal is to provide a safe community environment for my students to learn and grow. Since I will be working with your children on a daily basis, I wanted to share a little bit of information about myself. 

I’ve been married to my amazing wife, Hanna, for 2 years. She is a dental assistant in Millcreek and is currently studying to be a Marriage and Family Therapist at Utah Valley University.   

I was born and raised in Sandy. Growing up, I had many incredible teachers who always encouraged me to succeed. They ultimately inspired me to become the teacher I am today. I will never give up on a student and always expect their personal best. 

I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2019. This will be my third year teaching. I have taught both 5th and 6th grades in Sandy and Taylorsville. This will be my first year here at Cottonwood Elementary and my first year teaching 2nd grade, I am so excited for this opportunity and I am so excited to join your community! As a teacher, I know that all children are different and they learn differently. Please let me know if you ever have any questions or concerns.
